Our collection of Erte art silk ties illustrates his work in true Art Deco style. He is considered to be the father of Art Deco, first known as Art Modern in France. He has adorned the World with wonderful art influencing architecture and fashion. His sculptures, and paintings that depicting women and society in a grand manner are considered to be height of the Art Deco era.
In 1915 he worked for Harper's Bazaar creating 240 covers for the magazine. His fashion work appeared in other publications making him the most recognized artist on the 1920s. Erte’s art work is displayed in museums throughout the World, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
